Solernou focuses his practice on the representation of policyholders in first party insurance claims. He has successfully handled commercial and residential property claims, stemming from varying causes of losses, including wind, hurricane, water, and fire events. He has also effectively made insurers overturn their wrongful denial or underpayment of insurance claim benefits on behalf of firm clients.

A graduate of the Florida International University School of Law, Solernou previously served as a senior litigation counsel for Albertelli Law and was an attorney with Ronald R. Wolfe & Associates.
